Mirror TV - Philips Research Information
The media "bunf" they provide states: "Mirror TV in essence is an LCD display integrated into a mirror, which means that you could surf TV channels, the internet or even view your blood pressure while brushing your teeth or styling your hair, or just admire your reflection."
They take an interesting approach that I'd never thought of: hotels. I expect them to buy loads of them. This what they say: "While we see the Mirror TV first being used in hotels as a method of quick bill payment as well as a superb quality TV or monitor, we see a wealth of opportunities for the home of tomorrow. "

Philips 30" LCD Mirror TV

The Philips Miravision Mirror TV will soon be avaliable in 32 and 32-inch models. The information from Philips states that "the MiraVision simplifies consumer's lifves and decor through its dual functionality as a reflective mirror and an LCD monitor". What we love about it is that the wires are hidden. They're my pet hate, wires should be banned or left to people that don't care much for a clutter-free office or living room.
And here's a thing... Why have a flower in the way of a picture? If I want to see a flower, I wouldn't by a couple of grand mirror tv to put behind it!
As there aren't many retailers yet, we suggest that you try Kelkoo.
Update: We've found a company on eDirectory that sells them for £1669.99
